Ashley was two months premature and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 ounces. In ICU, Ashley spent an entire month. Parents were informed that her heart needed surgery on Christmas Day. The prayers of her parents were answered Christmas Day when they went to the doctor and found out that Ashley's heart had been shut. Ashley has never required any type of surgery. After spending two months in hospital, she was discharged with 4 1/2 pounds. Seit then she is healthy! She has English, German and Irish roots. The family that she is from is from Ireland. Ashley's acting debut came in an advertisement to promote the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley's career was furthered by the Ford Modeling Agency approached her aged 8. From then on, she's been working in publishing and still is employed by the Agency. When she was 10 Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley acted in 35 commercials. After that, she progressed to roles in the theatre. The acting was her passion now. Ashley has given her complete attention to acting. Dancing and modeling were left out. Ashley's latest character was "Hanna Marin" in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2009). Ashley was a guest performance in the music video for "True love" by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney Spears posed for her during the Vogue Magazine shoot. The singer is in the music video "That Girl" by NLT.
