Ashley was born prematurely and weighed 2lbs 8 pounds, 8 ounces. The hospital stay she was in the ICU took a full month. She was informed by her parents at the time of the Christmas Day that she was going to undergo the procedure for her heart. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents went to the hospital Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had closed up. Ashley did not require for any surgery. She was released to go home at 4 1/2 pounds after having been in hospital for 2 months. Since her release, she's well-behaved! Her father is German-English. Her mother's family is of Irish descent. In 2002, she made her debut in an advertisement for her Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley, then 8, was spotted by the Ford Modeling Agency. On the stage, she was consistent in her work and is in the Agency. When she was 10, Ashley made the decision to be an actor. Ashley began her professional career in 35 commercials before moving on to roles in the theatre. Acting was now Ashley's passion. Ashley's main focus was acting. She had little time to dance or modeling. Ashley is well known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was as well in Romeo Miller's video (aka Lil Romeo), and also in the song of Solange"True Love. Britney Spears was her co-star in an Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She's part of NLT "That Girl" as well as the music video.
