Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. In ICU, Ashley spent an entire month. Parents were informed that her heart was going to need surgery Christmas Day. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers when doctors told her parents she was born with an open heart. Ashley has never required any type of surgery. Within two months of hospitalization she weighed only 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Since then, she's in good health! Her father is an English-German. Her mother's family is from Ireland. In 2002, Ashley first made an appearance in a commercial for her Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley's career was furthered when The Ford Modeling Agency approached her at age 8. In print, she was consistent in her work and is at the Agency. At the age of 10 She decided she would pursue acting. Ashley did 35 commercials. After that, she went into the stage. Ashley is now a zealous for acting. Ashley concentrated all of her time on her acting. That left very less time to model or dancing. Ashley's latest role was "Hanna Marin" on ABC's Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley had a small appearance in Romeo's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love", which was performed by Solange along with Romeo Miller. Britney took a photo with Ashley for Vogue Magazine. The NLT singer appears in their music video "That Girl".
